User Data Deletion

This page explains how you can remove content stored in your Lexis Defender workspace and how to request a full account deletion that covers authentication data, saved documents, chat history, and billing records.

Self-service deletion

You can delete content you control at any time from inside the product. These actions take effect immediately and are irreversible.

  1. Documents: open /documents, select the files you no longer need, and choose Delete.
  2. Chat history: in any Ask session use the sidebar menu and choose Clear conversation or delete individual chats.
  3. Saved profiles: go to the case profile widget and click Clear workspace defaults to remove stored roles, states, and templates.

These deletions purge the selected items from our production Firestore database. Backups age out of our encrypted storage within 30 days.

Request full account deletion

If you need every trace of your account removed (including authentication data from Google/Facebook sign-in and billing metadata), submit a written request using the steps below. We must verify identity before fulfilling any deletion request.

  1. Email support@lexisdefender.com from the email address that owns the account. Use the subject line Account Deletion Request.
  2. Include:
    • Your full name and the email address tied to Lexis Defender.
    • Whether you signed in with Google, Facebook, or email/password.
    • Confirmation that you understand deletion is permanent and revokes access to all paid plans.
  3. Our support team will respond within 5 business days to confirm the request and may ask for additional verification. Once confirmed we delete the account and send a final confirmation email.

Legal or financial obligations (for example, Stripe invoices) may require us to retain limited transaction records for up to seven years, but these records are decoupled from your workspace content.
